The sight itself is stunning! However, I planned to buy a ticket to Pompeji online, but I was not able to do that. I had to buy a voucher and once there I was supposed to queue up and exchange the voucher for a ticket. Why?

Ticketing was good. Screen a bit difficult to see in the sun and location indicator didn't work. Maybe better with headphones to hear explanation. Possibly next time would choose a guide to accompany

Purchasing entrance tickets was very easy. The underground parking is very convenient and as a reasonable price. On Dec. 23 there were very few visitors so we enjoyed the visit at our leisure. Beautiful halls although I didn't understand why they made me put my backpack bag ( small in size compared to classic backpacks ) in front since the passage corridors are very wide and there is no risk of bumping into fragile objects that moreover are in the non-walkable areas. Beautiful gardens

These tickets were a dream. I bought them online the night before, the tickets allowed us to enter Herculaneum at any point during the day. We arrived around 11.30am and we were straight through, no queues or waiting. I loved Herculaneum, it's so well preserved and is much smaller than Pompeii so is not as overwhelming. It is at the bottom of a hill so please be aware if you need to get back to the train station for a set time, it's quite a walk!

Herculaneum is a place that makes an impression and stimulates the imagination. Not so long ago, all these buildings were located several meters underground. Today, they allow us to see with our own eyes what this ancient city really looked like. Most of the buildings presented here have been preserved in such good condition that walking the streets of Herculaneum, you can feel like you are in a real city where life still goes on. I will remember my time spent in Herculaneum for a very long time. Buying tickets via Headout allowed direct entry to the archaeological park.

We wanted to see the Pompeii artifacts since we were going to see Pompeii. We were all impressed with the amount of artifacts and the museum.

The vesuve is not to be missed There's an ascent, to be done slowly 😉 The volcano is just magnificent But be careful, you'll be stopped to park, so you'll need to have your change with you: 3€ per person for the climb, and the driver will take you to the ticket office. We didn't have any change, so we had to make the climb in 30 min.

Impressive place. Unfortunately there is a lack of cafés and places to take a break. Best to bring something yourself. We were in January but think in August at 40 degrees a horror. So bring water with you :).
